Discounted price not visible in cart and checkout

Hi there

I am trying to figure out how users can see their discounted price when booking for an event.
In configuration -> templates I did set YES for show discounted price and that works fine for the Event Information ( detail page)
However If they continue to book and add the event to the cart it shows the normal price without the discount ( in the popup screen )

Now they are getting reluctant click the pay button. If you do you will again see the normal price only in the checkout screen...
Only beneath the user information ( i was logged in all the time - so qualifying for the discount ) I actually see the price- the discount and the gross amount..

My question is : Can the discount be applied to the cart and checkout screen as well....
This is very important for my client...

Any progress on this in Event Booking? Of course i lost the changes you sent me after an update and it was impossible to find where the changes were made.... th shopping cart and the popup are fine but the overview before you fill the details shws the full price.
Or could you please tell me where i can adjust the price to the discounted price in the final checkout page..

I am sorry. We haven't had this change implemented in the extension yet. I don't see anyone else needs this change and haven't worked on it yet (of course I work on so many other features)

I hope you have a backup of the modification. Otherwise, it will be hard for us to redo this change for you .

Because the shopping cart overview on the booking page without the discounted price leads to confusion for clients I temporarily solved it by making the overview invisible on the checkout page in the custom.css, so it doesn't get affected by component updates.

I would prefer to show the overview with the correct prices so hopefully this will be addressed in an update. I can not imagine that no one else seems to have this issue..

I believe in latest version, discounted price is showed on shopping cart view. What version of the extension you are using ?

It is correct in the shopping cart module and popup , but not on the page where you fill in the user details(regsitration form) ..see screen shots
This is a booking where discount price is applicable so you can see the user gets confused, just prior to filling in the booking details, full prices ares shown in the overview above the registration form

I see. On the checkout page, we leave the full price because we want to show the discounted price which users get for their booking on the cart (which is showed on Discount Amount field on the form)

If we show the discounted price, I don't think we should display discount amount. So not sure which option is good.

My experience with clients is that now they freak out and do not proceed with their booking if they see the wrong prices in the overview.
Because it is quite a long registration page they do not scroll to the bottom to realize that the discount will be applied to the amount.

First I tried to overcome this in the message text by saying that in the overview the full amount was shown, but still we received complaints and calls from customers about this issue (people in general do not read very well..)
That's why i decided to hide the overview alltogether to not get this confusion.

Best solution would probably be to show price and discounted price next to it if applicable in the overview table....

Let me finish new version of Events Booking (version 2.0.5) this week, then I will review this issue again and might make the change next week. Need to think about it carefully before implementing the change
