Several remarks/questions EB

Hi,

I have a few issues with EB

My users have the ability to add an event through the frontend. I was able to change the form slightly. Is it possible to have the option "add location" in the same form? Maybe as a tab like “Misc” etc?

Users can customize, publish, and remove the content of an event. What I would like to have is that users only can change the event after they submitted one. If an event is published only the administrator can make changes or can unpublish the event.

At this moment I have only one test user attending an event. The list of attendees however shows 3 users. This seems a little bit weird.

Is it possible to show other fields on the list of participants like username or biography?

It Is possible to contact other participants through EB?

Is it possible to show the location only to logged-in users?

List participants also shows participants who have canceled their event

On the waiting list no first name or username shows up. Registration starts from the last name.

If I choose the map and I want to plan the route, the map shows the wrong address.

It is possible to offer a discount if a user registers before a specific date. Is it possible to show that date? It looks like this is only possible tot set up at the backend.

I hope you can help me to solve these things. Please note that I'am willing to pay if some code changes have to be made.

I hope you are doing fine. Unfortunately my questions about EB are not yet answered. Can you please take some time to look at these? Within 2 weeks I would like to start the promotion of my website. I only can promote my website if these issues are solved/answered.

First of all, the items could not be done by default. You will need to prepare to do some customization. Below are the details:

=> That will needs customization. I think we can add a Mist tab as you mentioned. However, it should allow users to choose from existing locations or add new location. I think that will make it more flexible

You want that after the event is unpublished, owner of the event could not unpublish or remove it ? That will require customzation as well as he extension doesn't handle it by default

Seems that list has a bug. It seems it is showing cancelled registrants as well. I am going to check and fix it on tomorrow. Please submit a support ticket so that I can update the fix to your site as well

=> From front-end or back0end. This will require customization but I don't think it is hard.

=> No, we don't have a way for doing that in EB

Is it possible to show the location only to logged-in users?

=> Not possible without customizing code(I haven't seen anyone request for this feature so far hehe). Location should be visible for public users. Maybe in your case, there is something special and you need to protect it ?

=> That's strange. First Name should be showed on waiting list form by default. we have no username collection for waiting list, unfortunately. Could you please send me the link to the page so that I can see why first name is not showing up ?

=> You can use early bird discount feature. However, if you want to show early bird discount date, you will have to customize code to show it

Thanks for answering my questions. It looks like a lot of customization needs to be done to change my website. I'am not the best coder. Are you willing to do this? Of course I will pay for it!

If you do not want to do it or if you do not have enough time I will search for a php coder here in The Netherlands. In that case can you please let me know how to change the code and prevent it from overiding after a new update?

The problem with the waiting list seems to be solved after a new install. Maybe this was a conflict with CB.

I will create a ticket for the issue with the map in EB. I also will remind you on my issue with membership pro. Maybe this needs also some extra customization.
