SEF destroys correct links for the component was created by Lyle Jover
Hi,
Im using JOOMSEF. I know there are components that gets affected by its SEF rules so I move to the regular Joomla Router for Event Booking, however the result is the same.
1. Links to upcoming events module brings me to its "Create event" link
2. Group bookings divert me to a different thank you page.
Other information are correct e.g. email notifications, information. Any ideas why even the regular Joomla Router doesn't work for Event Booking? I think this is very important especially whenever people share the event links they tend to prefer stuff that is human readable.
im using the latest event booking version. Just bought it yesterday.
Let me know.
I hope there's a solution.

Hi Lyle
Maybe it causes by JOOMSEF conflict for some reasons. Could you please try to disable JOOMSEF and use Joomla core SEF router to see the issue is still there or not ?

Hi Tuan,
There is an option in joomsef to select which router to use. Tried using the three: Joomsef, Joomla native, and no sef at all.
Only works for no sef.

Hmm. That's strange. I believe with sh404 (which is the only one SEF component which we tried), use Joomla native will work well. Not sure why it doesn't work with that option in JOOMSEF. Since I am busy on tomorrow, could I look at it on Wednesday ? Are you in rush ?
