Waiting List Paid Events

How does the waiting list for paid events work?

I have two people on a waiting list and I know one of one cancelled entrance.
Will the first person on the waiting list get prompted to enter automatically or do i need to do something?

At the moment, the system will just send an email to admin to notify him about this cancellation. Then he will need to notify the users from waiting list manually.

In the next release which I am working on at the moment, the system will send notification to all users from waiting list of that event so that they can know and try to register himself. The first user register will be accepted as registrant

It will take me about 3 to 4 weeks to complete this new version

Would you be able to add an option to automatically add the person who signed up to be on the waiting list first?
