User Email Body Receipt add the Event Location?

Hi,

I was wondering if its possible to show the Event's location data in the Emails and Messages section, User Body Email receipt confirmation upon successful registration. Currently the Registration Details Tag doesn't show the Events Location. I would like the location of the event to be shown in the email as well. Is there possibly a hack or adjustment that will show this info for me? I'm using Events Booking 1.6.2 with Joomla 2.5.19.. Thanks!

I am not sure it is available in 1.6.2 or not. But you can try :

1. Use [LOCATION] tag

2. Or you can go to Events Booking, configuration, look at Themes tab, find the config option "Show Location in the email", set it to Yes.

The both two options above are available in latest version (1.6.6 for now) but I don't remember it is available in 1.6.2 or not

I have 1.6.6 and have Show Location in Email = Yes, but it doesn't. I haven't tried [LOCATION] yet.

Maybe it is not showed because you are using shopping cart feature ? When you use the shopping cart feature, the above settings won't work because there are might be different events, so the system don't know why location it needs to show

That settings above only available if you are using Individual & Group Registration option

You are correct. I have the shopping cart feature turned on. If I manually put [LOCATION] in the user email, will that work? I suspect not by your response about the shopping cart.

It won't work because when you activate shopping cart feature, users will be able to register for different events within one checkout, so if you put [LOCATION] tag into the email, the extension could not know what location it will have to display (because there is different locations in this case).

So basically, if you use shopping cart feature, this feature won't work.
