wrong alert when user is already registered

in v1.6.5 I get this error when I'm already registered for an event but click on Register: "This event does not exist or we are no longer accept registration for this event."

Shouldn't it say "you are already registered for this event!"

?

Do you have "Prevent Duplicate Registration" config option set to "Yes" on your site ?

When you setup Prevent Duplicate Registration to Yes and registered for the event, the register button should be hided and you should not be able to click on it.

can we get the correct alert when you have already registered? it still says "This event does not exist or we are no longer accept registration for this event." when you click on a direct link to the event registration if you have already registered.

In fact, it takes you to the Category page for some reason with the wrong alert - I get this page when I click on a direct link to the registration page:

Thanks for reporting the issue. I haven't thought about the direct link use case like this and haven't covered it in the code yet. Is it really important to you ? If not, I would like to address it in 1.7.0. Will this be OK ?
