Hi
I am running Event Booking on version 1.5.3
I am using this great tool for a client 's website
www.ceramicsglasscircleaustralia.org
The supplier that I'm using told me that I need to upgrade joomla. We are currenly running 3.0.3
Do I need to upgrade Event Booking, if so to what level? Does it depend on what level of Joomla I upgrade too.
I also need to look at versions of PHP and mySQL.
These questions have been asked as I've had someone creating files in my folders. The suppliers ( www.uber.com.au ) believe that my website has been phishing.
Please help with answers to this.
Kind regards
Morena Fiusco

You should ugprade to latest version of Joomla (it is 3.3.1 or 3.3.2 at the moment, I don't remember correctly). Then you will need to upgrade your site to latest version of Events Booking (1.6.6 at the moment).
Don't worry about PHP and Mysql version. Joomla 3.3.x requires PHP version 5.3.10+, so just make sure your server has support for PHP 5.3.10+ and it will all work well
Regards,
Tuan

Hi
I have upgraded joomla to 3.2.4 and then upgraded event booking to 1.6.6
Is this going to be a problem with the comment that you send me previously?
Cheers Morena

Hi Morena
There will be no problem with my comments before. However, please note that if your site was hacked before, there might be still hacked files remain on your server and hackers can still hack your site again in the future.
The only way to be safe is re-build the site from scratch (from a clean Joomla install) but I can see that it is not possible. So you will have to use it as how it is and the site might still being hacked again in the future.
Regards,
Tuan
