Hi

I have looked, but cannot find out if it is possible to add an event category from the front end.

Is this possible?

Hi Wayne

We don't allow adding categories from front-end. We only allows adding events.

OK, I assume then that we must add a default category for front end users to use when they load an event from the front end and switch off the categories that we as site admins use for our own events??

Can this be done?

Yes. It can be done with some code customization. I think it will take a dev about one hour or so to add support for that feature.
