Events Booking discount per user group.

Hi,

We are planning to buy membership pro but before that we have to make sure that Events Booking supports discount on events per user group.

Is there a configuration in Events Booking where we can set a discount for event on user group? Let say, I am a gold member then I have 50% discount on all events from now then until my membership expires. I checked the configuration on event but I only found percent discount if you register as a group.

In the latest version (1.6.3), Events Booking has a config option called Members Discount Group and only members from these selected groups will received member discount.

So in this case, I think you can simply setup the extension as follow :

1. In Membership Pro, set up it so that when members sign up, they will be assigned to Gold member group.

2. In Events Booking, change the config option above, select Gold Member as the group will receive discount. And then set members discount to 50%.

After that, I believe it will work as expected !

We are using Events Booking version 1.6.3 but I don't see any discount where I can select particular group of user. Please refer to the attachment. Is that what you are saying in your reply?

If it is not the configuration/settings you are saying, can you please tell us the specific location where we can set the discount per group?

Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, look at the bottom of the page , you will see it (see the attached image). If you don't see it, you will need to download latest version, upgrade it to your site as we just added support for this feature about two weeks ago if I remember correctly).

Looks like our Events Booking is up to date. Do we need to download again or automatically it will download an update?

Sorry. We made changes into version 1.6.3 every day but we haven't released new version (1.6.4) yet. So in this case, the Dashboard said the version is Up To Date but the actual code is outdated already.

In this case, please login to your account, access to My Downloads menu item, see your order, download latest version from there and upgrade it to your site.

After that, it should work as expected !

Okay, we got it. We now have the member discount in configuration interface.

But how can we assign different discount on each user group per event? The one in the configuration we think works as a general discount for user in a group.

What if we like different discount on different user group per event? How can we do that?
Example:
We have an event named "X Concert". Here's how we want to set the discount for each group for that particular event.
We want Gold members a 50% discount.
Silver members a 25% discount
Bronze member 10% discount.

Please help us.

I am sorry but if you want different groups to have different discount amounts, it is not possible at the moment. So I am afraid of you will have to find a developer to customize the code for you to have this feature!
