Classes registration was created by kinwolf
Is there a way to have someone choose "classes" inside an event and pay only for the classes he selected?
Precisely, what we'd like to do is, someone register for the event, which is a karate 2 days training camp. When he does the registration, he get to choose to register for everything, or he can select and pay only for some classes which he gets to select.
That way, we'd also be able to know how many participants per class.
Is it possible?
Thanks

Well, I managed to do something with custom fields that would work for our needs.
I created a custom field named "classes" and added value 1 class, 2 classes, 3 classes, Whole day. And assigned a fee to each. We don't know how many per class, but that's not a huge problem.
The only thing left to fix would be 2 display problems. The first is that, to make it work without too much trouble, I have to set the event price to 0, and the custom field takes charge of the final price. But if I do that, the even is marked as "free" Is there a way to change it so that it display something like "Price variable" or something like that.
The second , is that on the registration confirmation it will display "50$ (with 50$ extra) That can be a bit confusing. Any way to hide that extra text and only have the total?
Thanks

Hi
Yes. Using custom field will solve your issue but the problem is that you don't know how many per class. But glad to see you are saying that it is not a huge issue.
Regarding the problem you are having :
1. With the displaying free: There are two options :
- Change the text to Price Variable like you said. If you want to go with this option, go to Events Booking -> Translation, find the language item EB_FREE, change the text of that language item to meet your need.
- The other option is that go to Events Booking -> Configuration, find the config option Show Price for Free Events, set it to No. After that, for this event, the price information will be hided.
2. For the second issue, you can go to Events Booking -> Translation, find that text and remove the text you don't want. It is easy !
Regards,
Tuan
