Cant figure out how to map a custom field

Hello

I am running Event Booking 1.6.3 and have just added a custom field that is part of an event registration.

In this case I want this custom field mapped to their username. I am just using the stock Joomla (3.3.0) user manager.

I would like to map this so the person registering doesn't have to add their username and it would just auto populate like email and phone do.

Any help wold be appreciated...

Unfortunately, it is not possible to do that in Events Booking. You cannot map a custom field to username .

How can I map in general?

I also have a customer field that has been added to the built in registration process (phone number) and I would like to map the EB phone filed to that custom field.

I have searched around on the forum and other online resources and cant seem to find a way to map anything. The only time I see a mapping tab is if I turn on CB integration and I am trying to avoid using CB.

In the current version of Events Booking, we don't have integration with Joomla core Profile , it is just integrated with CB and Jomsocial.

In the new version which we are working on at the moment, we are going to add support for that feature. But this new version will only be released in about 4 to 6 weeks from today !

Please let us know on this post when this feature will be available for core Joomla user profile component as I'd really like to use it too for one of my custom field.

OK Bruno. It is coming, just need time to finish it. There are many changes in the new version which I am working on at the moment, but once it is completed, we should all be happy .
