Waiting list captcha

Hi,
I am getting a lot of spam entries into the waiting list for events.
They always give a mixed surname of letters and numbers and always enter thousands of registrants rendering the waiting list useless.

How can I put a captcha onto the waiting list to stop the spam?

At the moment, waiting list doesn't have captcha feature. We are going to work on it next week. For now, maybe you can install a third party extension called R-anti spam ( extensions.joomla.org/extensions/access-...pam-protection/16331 ). It prevents spam very well !
