Translation is not being set

Hi everybody,

I set up the Event Booking on my Joomla 3.2.3 installation.
Unfortunately I cannot change the language to german.
I uploaded the ini file to the respective directory and I can select "de-DE" both as front end and back end language from the dropdown list on the translation site.
But when I select it an press "Save and close" it will just reset everything to the default settings and keep me on the translation site.
Event Booking itself tells me, that it is up to date.
I am using PHP 5.4 on the server.

How can I get the german translation to work, please?

I am sorry. There was a bug in the extension from this feature to work (it happens with the recent releases because it has now have too many language items in the language file).

We fixed this issue last week by adding pagination to translation page. So please access to My Downloads menu item, see your order and download latest version from there to update it to your site.

After that, everything will work as expected.

I've the same problem, but the extension was ordered/sent by mail just few days ago!
Joomla 3.6.6, EB 1.6.6

Should I download a new version, too?

No you should not have to download again. Please submit a support ticket sending us admin and FTP account of your site.

We are going to check to see what's wrong and get it corrected for you.
