I have two type of registrants : Adults and Children. I want to set price for adults to $20 and children to $15 . How do I do that in groups registration if I have for example : 2 adults with 3 children registering in an event but in a unique group registration?

i'm certainly missing something but none of what I found either in common problems or in general discussion gave me an answer...

The solution is using a radio custom fee field :

1. Set the event price to 0.
2. Create a Radio custom field :

- Set Fee Field to Yes
- Add 2 options into Values property of that field (Aduld and children)
- Set the price of each option (in Fee Values property of the field).
- In the "Display in" property, set it to Both Group Member Form and Individual Billing form

Please see the attached screenshot for the settings of the field. After doing that, I believe everything will work as expected.

Tuan

Thanks for the solution to needing different rates for different types of registrants. With the solution you post, How could you have one person register multiple people in one transaction. There would have to be details about each registrant entered somewhere so that in the exported CSV file about registrants.. all information is there to be used to create Badges etc..

I think I have it all set up now, but a few questions have come up. How does one deal with showing the price for the Event Properties? In my case I have an event that is $30 for adults and $15 for children. I have created radio buttons to choose either Adult or Child for the registration which they are each tied to the proper value. Because I have stated the Price is $30, all it does is add that radio button price onto the $30 set up in the Event Properties. Also during registration, after I select the proper radio button and move on to the next registrant, the new field I created and radio buttons totally disappear. If it disappears, there is no one filling it out to verify that all information is correct.

Hi

1. For showing the price in Event Properties, I don't think you should show it. The reason is because the price is not fixed, it depends on what registrant choose for his registration (adult or children). So in this case, I think:

- You should set the event price to 0
- Go to Events Booking -> Configuration, find the config option Show Price for free event, set it to No

2. For the custom fields which are not showed when you move to next registrant, that's really strange. Could you please send me the link to the registration page so that I can try it myself ?

1. I made the changes you suggested. The price does not show anymore in the Event Properties for the event, but does still show in the list of Upcoming Events.

2. The disappearing price custom field will occur in either Individual or Group Registration.

Please note that the site is still under development and is "offline" so you will need the access information. I would like to PM you that information.
