Need help setting up free event

Hi,

I originally purchased this to set up event registration for a paid event. Now I want to add a free event where I still capture select information from registrants (less than the paid event). I had previously set it up under the main configuration to require certain billing fields, so now it seems like I can't get rid of them for this free event! Is there a way to only apply to certain events, or will I have to do custom fields?

Hi Rebecca

You can simply edit the event , change the settings from there to hide the fields you don't want. The settings in main configuration will be used as default settings for all new events. However, EB is flexible so that each event can has it own set of fields. No need for using custom fields in this case.

Sorry if I'm missing something here...I changed all of the billing fields settings to not show or require (individual registration only) and it still shows all of the fields when they go to sign up. Are there other settings that would hide the registration fields for individuals?

Where did you change the settings ? Please note that for the existing events, we will need to edit it to change the settings from event edit page, not in Configuration.

As I mentioned before, settings in EB Configuration will only be used as default settings for new events, In your case, just go to Events Booking -> Events, click on the event to edit and change the settings from there and It will work well !

So I went to the event and changed the billing field settings, but do not see any place to edit registration fields (other than group). Where are the settings for the registration information?
