Calculating individual and group registration cost

Okay, here's my problem:
I have an event that could have individuals entering the event, with a cost of $500 each.

I could also have, for the same event, a person creating the registrations for a number of people, also at $500 each.

So, I set up the system for "Individual and Group Registration", and the price per person as $500.

Individual registration works fine - the charge per person is $500.

Group registrations seems to be wrongly adding an extra $500, presumably for the person entering the group. For example, a person chooses Group Registration, and enters registration for 4 people. The charge should be $2000. I'm seeing a charge of $2500.

What am I doing wrong?
