How to do sliding discounts?

I would like to have an event that gives discounts to groups, depending on the # of people in the group.

So, for # of people:

1-5 0% discount
5-10 10% discount
11-20 15% discount.

Second, is it possible to allow the group registrant (person registering the group) to add people to the group?

I'm wondering if that's possible, how it would affect payment processing.

I think you can use Group Registration Rates setting for each event in this case. Lets says the price for registration normally is 100$, you can set Group Registration Rates for this event as follow :

Price : 100

In the group registration rates section, enter :

5 90 That means if you register for atleast 5 members, the rate for each member will be 90$ (10% discount)

11 85 That means if you register for atleast 11 members, the rate for each member will be 85$ (15% discount)

And so on... Try that and that should work for you.
