No first name requirement was created by Danny Chamberlin
I am building what is essentially a sub-event to an event I have - it's not an add-on and registration for this sub-event is handled separately - we're just taking payment. We don't want the users to have to fill in any info other than maybe email and a couple of optional demographic questions - but I can't get First Name not to be a required field - Is that hardcoded in the application, and if so, what can I change to make it not required (I would prefer not to have ANY field mandatory) and hideable?

Hi Danny

Unfortunately, it is a required field and could not be hided. The reason is because the system will need at least one field so that it can display registrants information in back-end (and admin can click on the registrant name to see detail of registration record).

So basically, in registration form, the system will requires at least two fields : First Name and Email fields. These two fields cannot be removed.
