Does this component affect menu item positions? was created by veganvixen
This might sound crazy, but I am at a loss about a problem and I read in a Joomla forum thread a potential link to this component.
I have the weirdest thing happening. I have 2 menu items that I have ordered in the backend that will stay as I set them for awhile and then move on their own. Two of the menu items are Event Booking and Joomla Donation. However, Contact moves with them. I know bizarre! It's like menu poltergeist!
I set the Events, Donate, and Contact parent menu items to the far right. They will stay for a week or so, then I will go to the site and they move on their own! I have set them in every way possible including the arrows in the list and opening the menu item and force setting the order there and I always save with the disc icon. This issue has happened numerous times! I did read in Joomla forum that others have experienced this, but no solution so I am ruling out the potential that these components might be connected. FYI, they are currently in the correct position, but they will change until I figure this out.
Help is appreciated. This is driving me insane.

Hi
No reasons the extension can change it's menu items positions. As the extension developer, I can tell you that it could not happen at all unless there is something on yours site (not belong to Events Booking or Joom Donation) changes it.
BTW, is your site secure ? Maybe someone has access to your site and change it for some reasons ? From few years working with Joomla, I haven't heard about any plugins used to change menu items positions
.
