Transaction ID was created by Andrew
Hi Tuan / Anyone

Is there any way I can change the Transaction ID From alpha-numeric to just numbers? I would like to be able to generate more "user-friendly" references numbers e.g. 0001

Hi Andrew

What payment method you are using ? Please let me know more details so that I can think about it and find a solution for you. You want the transaction id to be sequence number like 0001, 0002, 0003.... ?

Hi Andrew

Unfortunately. this feature is not supported by default. So some customization will be needed. Will you be happy to pay our dev for 40$ to add support for this feature ?

Regards,

Tuan

Hi Tuan,

I'm currently working on a project for a client using Event Booking to run training courses and we're wanting to use the Transaction ID as and Invoice No, so they have also asked if it's possible for it to be sequential numbering - 0001, 0002, 0003 etc.

Are you planning to incorporate this in to Event Booking at some stage soonish or would they need to pay for the customisation?

Thanks

Nathan

Hi Nathan

The Transaction ID is ID of the payment returned by the Payment gateway, so we could not change it. If they want a number like that, we will need to add a new field, something like registration number.

And Yes, this will require customization to the extension (will think about adding it as a core feature of EB as well). If you are interested in customization after discussing with your client, please drop me an email or submit a support ticket so that we can discuss more about it.

Hi Tuan,

I submitted a Support Ticket - no 14089 - back on the 9th of January, and haven't had any response as yet.

Would be great if you could have a look at it.

Cheers

Hi Nathan

Are you really in rush with this customization ? I am asking this because our company is going to have a new year holiday at the beginning of next week ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lunar_New_Year ), and only come back to work again on 6th, Feb. So if we can leave the work until that time, that would be great !

Regards,

Tuan
