Waitlist spam?

My waitlist is getting hammered with spam 'waitlisting' Bots signing up for 42000+ spaces at a time. Is there anyway to stop this? For my regular registrations, they have to enter the recaptcha code, but it appears that they don't for this.

I'll try it, but wouldn't it be better to add recaptcha to the waitlist since it's already on the registration? Also, still looking for a reporting feature to the waitlist. Waitlist is nice to have but kind of useless if you can't run reports or the user has no history of being waitlisted.

I have not had the same problem but I would see the benefit of having recaptcha.
