Looking to buy new version

I am running version 1.4.3 of Event Booking and am looking to upgrade my website to Joomla 2.5.X from 1.5.X. My question is: If I upgrade Joomla to 2.5.x, will 1.4.3 still work? If not, do you offer a discount for past customers. Also, I am using EB FIrst Data as a payment plugin. I noticed that has not been updated since 2011. Will EB First Data still work with the new version of Event Booking for 2.5.x? I would appreciate a fast response to this, as I am looking to do this rather quickly. Thanks!

Is there a huge difference from 1.4.3 to the new version? I was able to configure things within the files rather easy to conform to the site I am using, just want to make sure I would still be able to do that as well. What would be the different features from 1.4.3 to the new one?

One last thing. If I do buy the new version, what kind of support do I get and for how long? Thanks.
