Recurring Events gone after saving

Hi!

A strange thing occured on Version 1.6.2: When i add a new Event, i can see the Option fields of recurring Events on the right side. After Saving this Event without using the recurring options, the field is not visible anymore. But when i use this option, the fields are there after saving. Any Idea, why this happens?
