Show Category Names in Events List

i want to be able to show the category name abuve each category (as a Heading) in the 'Upcoming Events (default)' layout?

any ideas?

Could you please send me the link to the page so that I can understand what you are trying to do ? In case that page contains multiple categories, how you want the name of the categories to be displayed ?

Ok,

what i want to do is when they click the on the menu i have selected the 'Upcoming Events (default)' layout. I want all of the active events to be listed in groups under their respective categories. e.g.

Category 1 Heading
- Event A details
- Event B details

Category 2 Heading
- Event A details
- Event B details

and so on.

All I need to know is what code to use to call the category heading above each group and where/which file to place it.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to do that or you will need to make some code modification in order to have this feature (need someone who knows Joomla programming to add this feature for you).
