I completed the development for version 1.6.4 of Events Booking, see the change logs at joomdonation.com/forum/events-booking-ge...6-4-change-logs.html .

Unfortunately, the feature to assign custom fields to event category is not included in this version yet, I have to leave it to version 1.6.5. The reasons :

1. Lack of time.
2. There are some difficultly to migrate data from old version to new version if we implement this feature (in EB, we allow assign one events to different categories and it causes the difficulty with migrating data from old version to new version).

So I need more time to think about it and implement it into the extension. That's the reason I have to leave it until version 1.6.5. Hope you understand !

I think this is very important for EB. Atm that isn:t joomla style and this is very bad, i must make many changes manual. :side:

I know. But I believe we will be able to find a solution for migrating data and implement this feature into EB soon. should be in less than 10 days.

Bad news indeed (I use a fresh version of EB and there is no data to migrate)

I now have custom field per category feature implemented in the latest code base. Would like to help me to test it? Please send me an email to tuanpn@joomdonation.com and I will send the latest version (which has this feature to you) for testing.

After completed testing (in the next two more days), I think we will be ready to release this new version to Public.
