Custom field - message word count

Hello,

Wen using custom field for a simple message within the registration form, there seems to be a hard word count limit or character limit imposed. Is there a way to increase the limit?

Hi Jordan

It seems you are not using latest version of the extension. In this case, you will need to change data type of one field in #__eb_fields table.

Please open the database table via phpmyadmin, change data type of the description field in that table to Text and the issue will be sorted !

I have this same issue, but I am using the latest release. I have been playing with the #_eb_fields table trying to get it to work, but nothing helps, it keeps cutting off my text. However, my table does not have a "data type" column for me to change it to text. Could you be more specifc about exactly where and what needs to be changed? I have also tried put the text directly in the table, but it still cuts off. See this:
