Location maps not loading was created by Stephen Espenschied
I have just changed my site to a new Rockettheme template (Stratos). I now have an issue that the location maps will not load when they are hit. I am not sure if it is template related or there is some sort of bug within Event Booking.
I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem?
My site is www.theblokeproject.com and the location links to next events are at the front.
Cheers,
Steve

Hi Steve
I think there must be some javascript conflict when you switched to the new template. Please submit a support ticket sending us admin and FTP account of your site, I will ask my dev to check and solve it for you on tomorrow morning.

Hi
This kind of issue usually depends on the site template. So please submit a support ticket so that we can check and solve it for you .

Looks like you're right, it's a template issue. I ran it on our test site with a default beez20 install and it does work. That gives me the direction we need to go for searching for the problem. Thanks much!

We're moving to the beez20 template in less than a week, no sense wasting anyone's time (ours and yours) on an old hacked up template.
Thanks for the offer though!

Can you tell us which template it works with? I have tried two templates (Gavick and Joomlaxtc) and it does not work on the back end or front!
Plus, how do you disable the or stop the "Registered" from showing the number of people that sign up for a event?
I do not want people to know how many people have signed up for an event for security reasons! I thought there was an option to turn this feature off, but I have yet to find it.
Again can you tell which template works with event booking and how to disable the Registered from showing...
Thanks

Ok I have a problem that I am hoping you can fit. I am running into the Secure and Unsecured error when it comes to using Event Booking.
The call it makes to Google is done with http and my site is https which generates a block error in Chrome and I have not tested in firefox yet.
So how would I solve this issue when it comes to Event Booking?
No one is going to give me their charge card info when my site is not secured! And when they go to sign up for an event Event Booking unsecured call to google map knocks out the https, which places a red line across https!
Is it possible to use //maps.google.com/maps/api/ to make the call to google instead of maps.google.com/maps/api/
As you may already know Google Browser Chrome does not allow you to mix the two http and https, it automatically block the request.
In chrome the little shield popup in the right side of the url, and when you click on it, it show you an unsecured request to load a script, and when you allow it, it thens place a red line across https!
I would like to use this component but I have to make sure it is not going to drive business away, because my members or guests don't believe my site is safe to give me their billing and charge card info .

update both my templates works the problem is the call to google map which is being done by way of the http and not https! In chrome you have to click on the shield in the url in order to load the google map info and then the map with show. But if you are on a secured or have a SSL Cert. system, it knocks it out because of the http or unsecured data coming from Google!
