registrant bug

Hi Tuan,

when you create a registrant in the backend, if you save without entering "Number Registrants" you have an error page :

"An error has occurred.
1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'ORDER BY registrant_number DESC LIMIT 1' at line 1 SQL=SELECT price FROM gdnth_eb_event_group_prices WHERE event_id=2 AND registrant_number <= ORDER BY registrant_number DESC LIMIT 1 "

instead of an error message like "Number Registrants is required"

Thanks for reporting. I think Number registrants need to be a required field. I will add javascript validation to force users to enter number registrants when creating new registrant into the version I am working on at the moment.

Is this fixed in the latest version? I have version 1.6.1 and I'm getting this error when trying to edit group member names after someone has registered through the front end of the site. I downloaded the update, but I'm wondering how to install it without erasing events or registrants.

Simply install new version over the old version and try again. If the issue happens, please submit a support ticket sending us admin and FTP account of your site. We will check to see what's wrong and get it corrected for you !

Can you please tell me how to set the number of registrants so that when someone is registering they have to set a number? I cannot find the setting in the backend.

Hi

You emailed me and asked about group registration. However, I think there is a simpler way for doing this :

1. Edit the event, set registration type to only allows Individual Registration.

2. Create a custom field allow users to enter number registrants. Named it as eb_number_registrants.

3. Install and publish the plugin which I published below

After that, I think it should work in the way you want.
