The scandinavian characters æ ø and å (and Æ, Ø and Å) are not handled correctly when exporting registrants (and to/from Paypal); they look like this: Kåfjord (KÃ¥fjord) - Tromsø (Tromsø) - Søreng (Søreng). and so on...

How to fix this?

Hi Petter

Unfortunately, to be honest, at the moment, we don't have a solution for this problem. yet. There is some limitation when handle csv export using csv programming language.

One of the solution is which customers has been using is that :

1. Open the csv file and change encoding of it manually .

2. Or upload the file to google doc and Google will convert the data manually .

I am sorry for the trouble but that's the solution for now !

Regards,

Tuan

Thanks Tuan,

I solved it locally by selecting Unicode when opening the csv-file in Libreoffice.
However in Paypal the issue is not solved and what is even more strange the character æ (æ) is displayed correctly, but å (å) and ø (ø) are not... Are there somewhere in the payment-module where the character set is defined?
