Fee field & quantity was created by Zoltan
Dear Tuan,
I use event booking module for online registration of courses. The total amount depends on lenght of courses (number of weeks) so I use the quantity field (shopping cart) for calculating and it works fine. Except with fee fields. There are some fee fields on the registration form (accomodation, etc.), and some of them also should have multiply with the quantity, but these values are just simply added as a sum.
Is it possible to multiply fee values with quantity? Or have you any other suggestions?
Thanks for your help!

Hi Zoltan
I am afraid of it is not possible. The reason is because if users register for 2 different events for example, one event with quantity = 3, the other event with quantity = 2, then what should be multipled in this case ? 2, 3 or 5 ?
Have you thought about this case ?

Hi Tuan,
Thanks for your reply. I have modified the source code and it seems to me it works fine. Not too elegant, but I use fee formula field as a marker:
1) fee_formula = 1 means no need multiplication
2) fee_formula = "" means fee field is multiplicand
(when it is not equal 1 or 0, it has original function)
To tell the truth I haven’t thought that somebody register more course at same time, so I always reset the cart before adding new item.
Thanks once again.
