Direct link to registration requires log in was created by Richard
I have a new microsite that uses Event Booking. I need to deploy direct URL links (via buttons on the main website) so that people are taken to the microsite. On the microsite users should see no menus - only the form.
Using the URL of the registration form (when I am logged in to the website in the front-end) forces users to log in before completing the form. Is there a way of avoiding this behaviour. The permissions look fine. I suspect I am missing something really obvious...
Many thanks!

Hi Richard
Will your users have to login to the microsite before accessing the form ? Or login is not needed ?

No. They won't have to log in. That's why I thought it was peculiar...

I think the reason is because you set Registration Access property of the event to Registered and that's the reason users are asking for loggin in. Could you please try to edit the event, set both Access and Registration Access of the event to Public and then try again ?

Thanks for your help - the event is set to PUBLIC for both ACCESS and REGISTRATION ACCESS.
It seems a bit odd!

That's strange. In this case, I think you should submit a support ticket sending me administrator of the mini site and also let me know the link to the registration page so that I can check it myself !

Sorry for the delay in responding. I found a solution (that you had already posted to a previous enquiry!). It appears that some of the links redirect to the admin access only.
This one works without the redirect:
/index.php?option=com_eventbooking&task=individual_registration&event_id=ID
Sorry for bothering you!
