"Hide Past Events" is not hiding the past events

Please help. I have "Hide Past Events" set to "Yes", but past events are still showing up on the calendar and people can still register for them.

Hide Past Events only affect the page which display list of events. If you want it to hide the events in the calendar as well, you can submit a support ticket sending us administrator and FTP account and I will edit code alitle to make it works for you.

Hmm, I made an event for yesterday that ended at 9am, but I was still able to register for it after 9am. However, today the event does not appear on the calendar. I think the time zone is messed up. I have my Joomla site set to my correct time zone. Is there another place where the time zone is set for the events?

At the moment, the system uses the timezone setting of the server where your site is hosted, it doesn't use Joomla Timezone settings. I know this is a limitation of the extension and will change it in the future (in less than one month from today).

For now, if you want it works exactly in the timezone you want, maybe you can try to contact your hosting and ask them to change the timezone settings of the server for your hosting account.
