Cant get Map to display

Cant get Map to display was created by Chris French
Hi Guys

I am setting up event booking on a staging site at the moment and I'm having trouble with getting the map to show up. I'm using the default template for the category but in event details under event properties I'm not even getting the location showing up. Any thoughts or help would be great.

Dear Chris

It seems you forgot to choose a location for that event and that's the reason the location is not displayed ? Could you please check ?

Having a bad day. I've selected the location, but the co-ordinates aren't coming up. They are staying at 0.0000 in the location setup

Ah

Regarding the 0.0000 in the location setup, it causes by a recent change in Google Map API. I fixed this issue about 2 or 3 weeks ago, so in this case, please login to your account, download latest version of the extension, upgrade to your site. Then re-create the location and it will work as expected.

I am having a similar issue with the map not recognizing my location coordinates and it defaults to somewhere in China? I will upgrade but have tried letting it select the lat and long with same results and when I enter them it returns the same. seems it wants me to be in China :-(

BTW, Tuan, I only purchased two weeks ago on 4/15/13 so was the fix in a build after I purchased? And will upgrading wipe out my current events and calendar?

I did the upgrade Tuan but it did not correct the problem with the map?

the date on the version I downloaded was 3-28-13 which is prior to my purchase of the extension.
