How does the user cancel his registration was created by Claude Petitpas

This may sound stupid but I can't figure out how a user can cancel out of a registration. I enabled the option in the event.

So they have to be a registered user and be logged in, guests on the site cannot take advantage of this feature unless they create a user account?

Yes. That's correct. Without logging in, the system has no way to know whether the current guest has registered for the event or not, so it cannot allows guest to cancel registration .
