Group Registration

Hi Tuan! Loving your product!

One issue. I created an event and selected "Both Individual and Group Registration". I put in the correct amounts under "Group Registration Rates". I select "Maximum Number of Registratrants for a Group" to "4".

Yet when I go though the registration process, it does not ask me if I want to register as an individual or a group.

I'm almost positive it use to do that. Can you shed any light on this?

Are you not seeing the Register Individual and Register Group buttons at all, on the bottom of the Event Details screen?

If only not seeing the Register Group button, one issue that can prevent it from showing, is if you have enabled the Shopping Cart feature, via the Configuration page. You can either use Shopping Cart or Group registration, not both at the same time.

If you aren't seeing either buttons, what do you see instead? Do you see a message that says you must Login first? Have you check the Access level for the Event?

As Cory explained, you will need to go to Events Booking->Configuration, find the config option Activate Shopping Cart feature, set it to No. After that, you will see the options allows you to register as Individual or Group .

Is it at all possible to hae both the group registration and shopping cart? I want users to be able to register groups into more than one event and make one payment

Yes. It is not possible. If you want to use Group Registration, you will need to disable shopping cart feature. They cannot work together.

Is it at all remotely possible to make them work together? Even if it means developing for it. We will pay for it if need be.

Unfortunately, with the current features of the extension, it cannot work together. You might want to hire someone to develop it for you, however, I am afraid of it will cost you much money (maybe about 200$ to 300$).

I think you should wait for future release of the extension. I will consider adding support for it (maybe you will need to wait from 4 to 6 weeks).
