Customising the Table Layout

I am not familiar with PHP so have to ask if I should be able to make some minor modifications to the Table Layout?

1. How do I increase the width of the table: I have very short event names which easily fit the column but the Event Date requires 2 lines in the table as I am using format "D j M Y" e.g. Wed 3 Apr 2013. The table does not extend over the width of the Beez_20 template so how do I allow the table to fill the template width?

2. I would like to make use of the table to add a couple more fields, particularly the start time: I can see no way in Themes of adding fields to the Table Layout.

I would appreciate guidance as to whether I can make these changes without having to learn all about PHP.

Hi Tim

It will be difficult for us to guide you if you don't know about programming. How about paying one of our dev for 1 hour of working (20$) for doing these modifications for you? I think it will save time of both of us.
