Event booking event links and breadcrumb problem was created by webdev
Hello Tuan,
I'm having problem with event links and breadcrumbs.
Breadcrumbs show correctly when i navigate through menues like menu -> submenu -> Event booking Calendar -> Event name
But when i open event from link in received email notifications breadcrumb do not appear and this way it's difficult for me to identify which calendar it belongs to.
When user register for an event, email notification comes in my inbox with having registration details and link to the Event. When i open this event from email no breadcrumbs shows up. Event open up with following URL:
mysitename.com/index.php?option=com_eventbooking&task=view_event&event_id=3667&Itemid=0
No breadcrumbs here. But when i open this event by navigating through menu -> submenu -> Event booking Calendar -> Event name
then breadcrumbs appear. Why event links structure is different here? i mean they should come under their menu and calendars.
Actually, we have around 8 calendars and most of event names are same. This way it is really hard to identify which calendar it belongs to and hard to sort out registrants.
If there would be category tag in available tags to use in notification email, it would also save our life. But i couldn't find category tag to use in notification email.
Because as an administrator i need to know which category/calendar this event belongs to.
Can you please help with it?
Thanks

Hi
To be honest, breadcrumbs is a known issue but I haven't had a chance to look at how Joomla core breadcrumb works so that I can fix this. Please give me sometime to work on it, I will have this issue solved within next week.

Thank you...and i will be waiting for solution.
Additional info:
As i know joomla breadcrumbs appear with menu item id, they do not appear on links.
I noticed some events links pulls item Ids and there breadcrumb works, and some events do not pulls item id in their link and there is no breadcrumb.
Like:
mysite.com/index.php?option=com_eventbooking&task=view_event&event_id=3071&Itemid=127 (Breadcrumb appear)
mysite.com/index.php?option=com_eventbooking&task=view_event&event_id=3046&Itemid=0 (Breadcrumb do not appear)
Hope you already know it. If all event links add item id in their links then breadcrumb will work.
