displaying JUST grand total

is there a way to remove "Total amount" and "Discount amount" from confirmation page, and from the registration details that are sent via email? Because the event's pricing is arrived at by a combination of custom fee fields and member discounts, it's confusing to registrants to see the total and discount amount. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Unfortunately, it is not possible. You will have to customize the extension to remove the information you don't want. I will be happy to tell you the file you need to look at to remove the information but I could not help you to do the modification.
