[SOLVED] Unpublish events was created by torgrim
Hi,

Is there an option to unpublish an event on a specified date, or do you have to manually check the list of events an unpublish them when ended on a regular basis?

Hi

At the moment, it is not possible. However, you can config the extension so that it will hide the events automatically when the event is passed. To do that, go to Events Booking->Configuration, find the config option Hide Past Events, set it to Yes. After that, it should work as expected.

Yes, I have already set "Hide past events" to "Yes" (This should be default, and probably is)

But it only hides for Event listings, and not for Joomla. If a user search for "Mathcad" he will get listed all our old and outdated previous events for Mathcad.

Hope you can fix this in an update, as we need a "Unpublish past events" option.

Hi

If you are using Joomla 2.5, please get this updated plugin, upgrade it to your site and the past events should be hided from Joomla search.

Thank you for this.
Plugin installed, but now when I search for "nvivo" on our site (with one event that is not unpublished but with end-date 14.march 2013) I get this error message:
"
Fatal error: [] operator not supported for strings in /plugins/search/eventbooking/eventbooking.php on line 102
"

Hope you can fix this, as I had to disable the event search plugin on our site.

PS: And unpublish would be the best solution... Not just hide from search.

PS2: On testing I get this error message even when I have unpublished all events that have ended.

Sorry. There was a typing mistake in the code. Please try the updated version of the plugin here.
