It seems you are still using an old version of Joomla. What version of Joomla you are using? If you are using Joomla 2.5, please atleast upgrade your site to Joomla 2.5.6 (better upgrade to Joomla 2.5.9) and it will work well.
Could you please do that and let me know the result ?

Upgrade from Joomla 2.5.4 to 2.5.9 is easy. If you want, please setup a copy of your site to server then submit a support ticket sending me administrator account of your site and I will help you to upgrade it.

It is on my laptop. I am doing the work for a client once I've finished I will then port it on to my test environment for them to see.
What information do you need to get access to my laptop? I will create another ticket to give information about my laptop ip address and the joomla administration information.
You are very sweet for helping me
Kind Regards,
Morena

Well I'm mot having a good day. I decided to install Akeeba backup. This was successful as it told me but there were some errors
Now when I tru and access administrator it comes back with this.
Fatal error: Class 'JModelLegacy' not found in C:\wamp\www\cgca\libraries\fof\model\model.php on line 23
Is there a way of uninstalling this extension? Or in short an extension in joomla?

I think I cannot access to your laptop. To upgrade, you can download the upgrade package from here joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsrelease/17...le-Patch_Package.zip , then copy the file to the root folder of your site, unzip it and your site should be upgraded to Joomla 2.5.9.
