Community Builder field mapping

1. When "Reduce Registration process" the fields from CB are not transferred to the EB registration. Is this a bug? Works ok without "Reduce Registration process" on.

2. EB only supports mapping First name and Last name from CB. But many people have "single name" mode on in CB. Can this be mapped?

=> The purpose of Reduce Registration process is that it simply the registration process (in case you don't want to collect much information from registrants). So in this case, the fields from CB are not transfered to EB. It is not a bug, it is how it is designed to work.

2. EB only supports mapping First name and Last name from CB. But many people have "single name" mode on in CB. Can this be mapped?

=> At the moment, it is not mapped when you have single name mode in CB. However, I will work on this feature in the near future (within this week) to make it available in the extension.

I have the same issue as stated in #2. I am using Joomla 3.0 and Community Builder. I have CB name style set to single name so the name is only stored in the users table (not the comprofiler table in columns "first name", "middle name" and "last name").

I wanted the registration form to be populated with the registrants name and tried to map the first name field with CB formatname field (it was the only name field besides first name and last name and I can´t use them), but nothing appears. I even trried to create a custom field and map that with the formatname field, but with no luck.

B.t.w. I checked if the configuration in the CB list management offered this formatname field, and it does along with just a name field (both options work for the list and display the names correctly)

Am I doing something wrong or is the CB formatname field in the fields mapping dropdown in EB not working like I thought it should?

Hi Eva

As I mentioned, it won't work if you use Single name style in CB at the moment. But it is something which we can add support easily. I will spend time to work on it on Monday next week.
