mod_events displays no title

your module for up-coming events does not display any title, regardless whether I set yes or no.

I believe it is something related to your site template. You can see it on the demo site at eventbooking.joomdonation.org/ (the title is showing). Could you please check it carefully on your site template?

I am not sure were to check that.
There is nothing in templates.css that would hinder displaying module title.

Do you know where module title display is defined globally? what joomla file is responsible for that?

When you edit a module, there is a parameter allows you to choose to Show Title of the module or not. Could you please check and make sure you set "Show Title" parameter to Yes ?

of course I did. I am no fool. take care of my first posting .." regardless whether I set yes or no." implicates, that I did.

Meanwhile I found the reason after some google search. Module style was not correct in template index.php. It was set to "container" but module titles work with style="xhtml" only.
