Colour Coded Calendar Events

Is it possible to show different colour events on the calendar based on event type?

I seem to remember this being mentioned as a feature but I can't see how to implement it.

What version of the extension you are using? If you are using Joomla 2.5, please upgrade to latest version (1.5.3). After that, when you create a category, you can choose a color for that category and all events belong to that category will be colored by the selected color.

I misunderstood, I was thinking/hoping that colour coding was at the event type rather than event category level.

I will have to re-think. It would be great if the event thumbnail appeared on the calendar rather than the standard calendar_event.png

I agree about the event thumbnail appearing on the calendar. It is THE only feature my client needs that isn't supported by Event Booking... The image thumbnail on calendar view would add another feature that the competition doesn't have. I'm not aware of any other plugin that does it "out of the box" that has a similar feature set as event booking. Tuan, please reconsider adding this feature. Thanks for your time.

This was also asked in the 'Features Wish List' section and a file is downloadable from the thread to add this feature which works fine.

Thanks for that. Sounds very promising. I'll have to take a look when I get home from the office. I've asked for this feature for over a year. I'm glad I'm not the only one who could benefit from this feature. thanks again for pointing me in the right direction and sharing the updated patch!
