After users register/pay for their event, they are sent an email in return. Unfortunately, the email displays the full credit card number, which is not a good idea.
How may we modify the scripting to only display the last four digits of the card?
What payment plugin you are using? I believe Events Booking doesn't have any payment plugin which display full credit card in the email. Maybe you are using something different ?
I can tell you that if it is the authorize.net plugin comes with the extension, there will be no creditcard information sending to email which contains credit card number. Maybe that email is sent by Authorize.net, not Events Booking ?
