I've setup a custom field dropdown menu item with 4 things in the dropdown. (Event registration)
During the registration process they show up fine but when one of them is selected, the selected item isn't transfered over to the registration - instead it goes back to the default item.
Just replied you via support ticket. Here are the answer again in case someone gets the same issues:
Can you send me the link to the registration page so that I can check it myself? I believe the reason of the problem is because you have some empty space characters in the options of the custom field and it causes the issue. Please check the values attribute of the custom field, make sure you have none empty space before and after each options. After that, check it again and It will work as expected.
Update : The customer had two custom fields with same name and It causes the issue. He just had to change name of these custom fields and It will work well now.
