Custom Event Metadata

I see that, using EB, the metadata for each event is pulled from the event title & description. I'm about to repurchase and install this on a new site, but my client wants to be able to have custom metadata for each event that can be different from the event name & description. Is there any way to achieve this? Perhaps using custom fields?
