The problem is that I had sh404sef but it is not compatible with falang that is need for multilingual site and also I have to disable sh404sef.

As a result I would like to use Event Booking with Joomla core sef instead. And it will be really great if you could deliver the plugin according to your new deadline (a week) since I do not believe sh404sef still so useful from joomla 2.5 (personally I am trying to not use it anymore).

I did in the end find how to do it, here is the link to the post

You do have to buy SH404SEF though, and read carefully as the installation is not the "normal" Joomla installation I don't think. SH404SEF does complicate things a bit from my point of view, even though a lot of people swear by it...

If you go this route and get stuck just shout, and if you would like to see an example on my test site let me know and I'll send a link via email or something....
Hope this helps?

I have uploaded the file com_eventbooking.php into components/com_sh404/sef_ext , however it still not working : I also have a serious doubt about the above.

Please give a working solution else I will not have any other choice than to remove this component (I have lost several days trying to fix the issue without success).

Hi

If you have used sh404, please submit a support ticket so that I can check the issue with sh404 with Events Booking. It should be easy.

For adding Joomla core router support, this week, I want to finish the new release of Events Booking. So I will start working Joomla core SEF router during the weekend and the beginning next week (infact, it is better than Joomla core SEF router). So you don't have to use sh404 if you don't want, just give me about 8 to 10 more days.

The next release of Events Booking is much better, so I hope you will stay with my extension.

Regards,

Tuan

Hi Tuan,

Many thanks for this great extension. I really look forward to have a better SEF solution for this super component, it will increase its power a lot, in my opinion.

I'm using JoomSEF and having a way to integrate with that component will be great.

Kind regards
Alejandro

Sorry, but I have just discover another bug using falang when I switch from default language to second language from home page : I am redirected to your component page.

I will remove this component at the moment since it is not stable (I do not see how you can manage a multilingual website properly without falang since sh404sef team are just expert in scam (josetta does not work at all and do not expect them to refund you according to their '100% 30 days Money back guarantee').

Your component may work only for people that do not have a multilingual website.

Hi

Before you remove the component, could you please talk to me on Skype so that I can try to understand the problem you are having and help you to solve it ?

If we cannot get it sorted, I will refund the money of your purchase.

My Skype nickname is tuanpnves. I am looking forward to talking to you .

(BTW, the extension works with Joomla core multilingual, so I don't think you need to use Falang). But we will find out more when talking on Skype !

The problem is that I do not know how to set up successfully a Joomla core multilingual (tried several tutorial but the were in fact incomplete). And the problem with this method is that the default language seems to redirect to mysite.com/en/ (in case of english as default language) instead of just mysite.com. I have spent at least a week on this (you can make a search on my username on forum.joomla.org/ ).

Will you guarantee that your method will successfully allow to remain on mysite.com for the default language?

In addition, I do not understand why you stick to Joomla core for the multilingual feature but for the seo you totally rely on disrespectful and scam developer teams like sh404sef!

There is not homogeneity in your method of development and you rely to much to third party : reason why your extension is no stable at the moment (please allow me to remain you here another obvious example of the donation thermometer that point to a picture from a third party).

Just want to add that Falang and JDiction can be successfully integrated in order to translate Events, the latter working even better, as it can be used to also translate the useful event custom fields, which are explained here:
