Event Booking: Creating Notification Only on Calen was created by michelle747
To Whom It May Concern:
I need to add some important dates on the calendar, but these are not events. Is there any way to do this without these dates appearing as events.
For example, I would like to give students a heads-up about when classes resume, spring break, days off, etc... These aren't actual events but dates that would be helpful to highlight on the calendar.
I want to keep the date highlighted here:
amauhd.com/index.php?option=com_eventboo...w=calendar&Itemid=71
But not here:
amauhd.com/index.php?option=com_eventboo...w=category&Itemid=70
Thanks,
Michelle

Hi Michelle
Unfortunately, it is not possible. If you create an event, it will be displayed on Events Category page. If you want to get this feature works well, I think you will have to customize code :
1. Edit the event add/edit screen allows you to choose whether the event will be displayed on category page or not.
2. Edit the events category page and only display the events which are choose to be showed.
If you know programming, you can do that. If not, maybe you can hire someone to customize it for you. If you want to hire us, it will cost you 40$ for this modification .
