Event Booking - Unable to add Location

Just downloaded and paid for Events Booking - and find I cannot create a Location. I thought at first there might be unmarked mandatory fields but whatever I try the Location page crashes with -

Server error
The website encountered an error while retrieving http://localhost/joomla_sawmill/administrator/index.php. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
Here are some suggestions:
Reload this web page later.
HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfil the request.

Have a missed a step in the installation and configuration? I have been able to creat a Category and an Event but no Location.

Just tyo confirm that I have now tried to create a Location from both the back end and front end interfaces, completing all fields marked as mandatory on the front end, and still get the same error. I have also done a complete shutdown and restart of the server.

What next please? I cannot proceed without being able to add Locations. If you need a log or error file I would be grateful if you could advise the likely directory in which I can find any such file.

Hi Tim

The function requires CURL library (it is a very popular library and enabled by most of server). So please config your server, enable that library and everything will work well .

Thank you for your very fast response: very efficient service.

Just a suggestion that perhaps this pre-requisite should be mentioned in the "readme" file? I have a standard installation of the latest Ubuntu and CURL is not included. Ok, it's easy to add it once you know it's required but I would have thought that Location is a pretty common requirement fo an events component so perhaps worth documenting the need to install this package.
