Thinking about paying to upgrade

I was thinking about paying to upgrade. Client is currently running Event Booking v 1.4.2 on the most current Joomla 2.5 release. I have made many template overrides to customize the layout.

If the upgrade process fairly easy? I imagine I would have to recreate the template overrides, but as long as the file structure/names have remained the same it shouldn't be too difficult.

Also, would we lose any registrant info?

Upgrade is really simple. The file/folder structure doesn't change (of course, new files , new features added). If you use template override, you might have to re-do the modification to the layout files.

Alll the registrants, events, categories... will be kept .
